2022 was the year that saw it all suddenly click for the 07’s, having joined a new league (Central D) following the folding of the Forth Valley league. Pitted against old rivals who we’d always previously lost to such as Riverside, and new Central teams, the team went on an amazing winning run that nearly lasted the full season, before finally being beaten once at the end of the season.
The boys clinched the title in May 2022, with top scorer Blake Atwell scoring 50 goals! Of course, the success was built on the bedrock of a solid defence led by our joint players of the season Centre Backs Nathan Bird and Logan Ward.
The 2022/3 season in our new C league has started well, with the boys currently just 3 points off top spot.
